based off of your MMR, you may have been gold 5 but you were probably playing with silver2's the majority of the time you were playing being the 1 gold person in the room who would supposedly stomp the silvers.
you could not fall out of gold 5 unless your MMR fell all the way to bronze 1.

same with me i was bronze 1 and i work my ass of with all the trolllers bronze that can play i do uderstand the frustration . i also make a post myslef i win 8-2 and i end up bronze 5 again seems pretty fuk up up to me i carry all my team for my 9 games . even so i just tougth riot should fix this becasue serisouyl they make us lose time with those bronze kids i was also platinum. and and up bronze 1

i would like to talk to the manager my self. i know im not the only one , but i just really dont understand those rank system ? like an example cs go have such a great rank system seriously it should be the same . i just do think they will lose alot of player for that new updated
You are missing puzzle pieces. They did a soft reset in the preseason. So basically they take a big rito dick and fuck your mmr before the season starts. The only way to combat this is by padding your mmr in the preseason. op.gg recorded a 130 mmr drop for me just before the season started, i was playing ranked so it was likely 2 full divisions (140 if im not mistaken) initially.
Its BS i know, but at least you can have closure. this happens pretty much every year from what i can see.
