Executes are stupid

Verily, verily, executes are stupid. A Caitlyn simply presses R. A Garen flashes and kills you. A Chogath simply eats you. (and he gets a signal for when it will kill, as if it weren't already too easy.) So many champions that simply press a button when you are below a health threshold to make it as if you were already dead. Whatever happened to HUGE damage? Why percent health? Fun to use on the unsuspecting victim, completely toxic to skill and hope.

I am completely fine with an annie one-shotting me, because...

  1. I might survive her combo
  2. She uses more than one skill to do so.
  3. I don't feel that "cheated" feeling
  4. Usually doesn't one shot at lvl 6
  5. she isn't a Garen flashing under my tower to ult me.

I both hate and love this game.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Executes are skills that deal damage based on missing health.

Caitlyn's is not one of those

I love getting QQ'd 2-3 times by Lee Sin because I can't run away from him and it essentially guarantees kill damage.

I like that of the 3 executes you listed only one does any form of % damage

I am completely fine with an annie one-shotting me

Usually doesn't one shot at lvl 6

Executes require their targets to be low health (and the ones you mentioned aren't even resettable). I mean, if you're low health around someone with execute, what do you expect >_>.

Executes are super unnecessary in a game where everything already does a tone of damage. When you look at a game like HoTS where abilities rarely do more than 200 damage and sure an execute ability might be reasonable to have a way to confirm kills on low health targets. Thing is with league is that most abilities when maxed have the capability to execute based on how much damage they do by default. This makes executes in league into less of a "Killing a low health target in one shot" to "Killing half health target in one shot". The ability just doesn't really fit the framework of the experience league is providing which is what makes it frustrating.
