Why People Think Yas is Broken and How to Deal With Him.

A lot of people think Yasuo is broken, mostly, if not, only in low elo. This is a discussion on why people think Yasuo is broken and how to deal with him in lane.

Why People Think Yasuo Is Broken: I honestly think no champion is broken in League of Legends when it comes to laning. What makes Yasuo broken? Nothing. Yasuo is the kind of champion that either loses hard or wins hard. You just have to know how to make him lose hard. People find his shield very annoying to deal with, and since his flow bar fills quicker the more/faster he moves, the more often his shield will be up. Many dont find this fair because his E already gives him so much mobility, his shield is almost always up, although there is a way to deal with this which can be read below. Another reason people think this champion is broken is his doubled percent crit chance, and thanks to Infinity Edges Unique Passive, his critical strikes do even more damage. A good yasuo would be dashing around the minions a LOT and annoys people so much. The fact that you can throw an Ahri Charm and watch it disappear to his windwall is so cancerous.

How to deal with Yasuo: His shield is quite an easy thing to deal with, ALL IT TAKES IS AN AUTO ATTACK (If you are a ranged champion). Never let him have his shield up. All it takes is a single auto attack to take it down, but do not waste your cooldowns on him when he has his shield up, otherwise he wouldnt take as much damage as he could have. If you are a melee champion, DO NOT FIGHT HIM LEVEL ONE (unless you are a bruiser). Yasuo beats almost every melee champion level 1 and poke him with some sort of ranged ability to get his shield off. If you can win lane and absolutely dominate him, it will take him so much time just to get Cloak of Agility, which gives him his 100% crit chance, after his Phantom Dancer, or, if hes a bad Yasuo, his Statikk Shiv. By the time he gets 100% crit chance, everyone else will be much further ahead that it wont even matter. Yasuos windwall is a 21 second cooldown, when it is down, that is your green light to go aggressive. Try to bait his windwall out before going aggressive. And like always, track the jungler. If you are getting ganked and blaming it on Yasuo being broken, you deserve Bronze 5. That is the most stupidest thing you can even think of. Track the jungler, know what camp he started, and WARRRDDDD!

Honestly, I just find him annoying to have as an ally or enemy. It is mostly a combination of his Windwall, feast-or-famine playstyle and playerbase rather than his actual strength.

If there isn't a higher priority ban, I'll just get rid of him to avoid the frustration.

  • If he's in the enemy's team, he carries the team hard. But if he's in my team, he feeds like hell, despite being a Mastery 7. About 80% chance these kind of things will eventually happen.

  • If you're playing a slow melee tank like Sion & Ornn, good luck dealing with Yasuo's "Imma dash through the whole minion wave just to spam my Q & AA at your face" bullshit.

  • Some top laners requires a lot of time & gold to invest on items that gives them the power spike they need. Yasuo on the other hand takes one Zeal & already deals a motherfking load of damage. Also includes the 2nd point.

I don't care what people have to say, I still find him seriously annoying to deal with, be it either I rekt him or getting rekt by him. He will ALWAYS be my first option to ban in my Ranked games.

In laning he's not broken at all, no. But he gets pretty busted as the game goes on. I used to not fear him at all because of Thornmail, but then they went and broke it. Now I have no reliable counter against him that isn't hard CC.
