Why is healing reduced on ARAM but Jayce, Xerath, AP Kog, etc do full damage?

Doesnt seem to make sense. If a champion's roll is to heal, let them heal. If their roll is to poke, let them poke. But don't deprive a champion of their ability because it just makes the game weird. I think that reducing healing was not useful after all.

I think the idea was to nerf defensive turtling strategies in exchange for bursty high damage short time based matches.

I mean if you want balance do you really play a game where so much randomness is involved?

Because then the healing team won by having the healer buy 1-2 mana regen + cdr items and spamming their heal button. Even worse is when they have, say, Soraka and can easily land a 1-2 man Q anytime it is up, giving her infinite health and healing.

Eh, it was more fun healing up all the excessive poke

it would be nice if they would un-nerf healing in ARAM a bit. Kayle Nidalee Taric have terrible heals that cost more mana than they heal in HP

It's aram... why balance a non competitive game mode. z.z

The fact that they even messed with balance in a game mode where your chance in winning is literally all up to the roll of the dice is stupid, in and of itself.
