I can definitely see many situation where this could easily be placed on the jungler.
However, as someone who has played a decent amount of jungle, .. I have been in so many matches where my laners will constantly be over extended with no vision, OR VISION OF THE ENEMY JUNGLER BEING PINGED ON THE MAP NEAR THEIR LANE, .. And me on the other side of the map.
So, there is literally nothing that I can do to stop someone from over extending and being unaware of the map.

Because the mid never wards, they let the enemy JG they fed invade allied jungle with 0 vision on entrances, even when it's seen and pinged, they don't leave their lane. On top of that due to vision nerfs, the JG can no longer protect both jungle sides with wards, even when using pinks. When their jungler despite being behind almost kills the enemy jungler in the back of their own jungle, his allies still ignore it, and the pings. Or on very rare occasion if the jungler is lucky, will come to pick up the kill after the opposing JG is on 10hp. All the while they're screaming at him for not ganking as he dies in the back of his own jungle.
...Or something like that.
Of course, I was in Silver 1 promos at end of last season so what do I know...OH HEY! Look, you're Silver 1. Try playing other roles before you criticize them.
