Looking to main ADC Marksman, words of advice? / Champ Pref

I've been playing LOL for a little bit now, and originally i'd only play support because it seemed to be what I was good at. But I do not find it all of that entertaining and have been exploring into other roles such as top or adc marksman. I guess the bot marksman role is catching my eye more and more. I've pretty much only practiced with Caitlyn and Jinx ; but now I am looking into expanding my champion pool.

I have been interested with Draven and Kalista . So I'd like to know what you all have to think about these two champs. As well I am looking for any tips you'd give someone who is looking to main this role.

I've been maining ADC since the end of season 3, mainly due to it being the least-desired role at that time and usually being left open for last pick even over support.

I've found that you can rarely and should logically NEVER trust your allies. As such, I'd suggest trying to stick to ADCs that have self-peel and lots of range. The safest option is probably Tristana: she has a huge jump; strong CC on her ult in the form of a single-target "AoE" knock-back; and attack range that scales up to closely match Caitlyn's by level 18.

My 2nd option is Corki: his dash is still decent despite the repeated nerfs that have been made to it; and he's able to keep enemies at a huge distant whilst he presses R for free damage, but I mainly only suggest him when your team is lacking magic damage. Especially after his recent kit changes, he tends to do around 10x as much magic damage as physical, even in spite of building 6 AD items if you so choose to. Not even exaggerating, I've begun buying Void Staff over LW now.

I suggest staying away from immobile ADCs, especially if they very little or poor CC. Jinx has hard CC on a basic ability and basic range rivaling Kog'Maw's, so she can manage. Ashe also has hard CC albeit on her ult, but decent soft-CC on her autos and W as well as above-average range so she can kinda manage. Varus is just a worse version of Ashe on all 3 points I just stated. Picking MF is essentially asking the enemy to sit on top of you: poor CC, bad mobility and nerfs to her base AD and multiple nerfs to W's AS + the removal of Impure Shots makes her exponentially worse at fighting a single target. If the enemy team can reach you, you're almost guaranteed dead especially after the recent nerf to her durability.

I play ADC a lot. Especially this season since they run the game. Biggest tip I can give you is that you don't build a lot of AD items. You get one Infinity Edge then 2 crit items (runnans hurricane, static shiv, phantom dancer) and finish it with an essence reaver. Berserkers Grieves for boots. With this build you have 160AD plus 100% crit. And 100% attack speed. You become unstoppable. Now as far as marksman goes. Miss Fortune is unstoppable now. Her ult scales with crit and her E sets off thunderlords decree. She is broken. That being said she will have some sort of rework at some point to Nerf her. Jinx got nerfed recently and is still a great choice. If you want a fun simple champion that just destroys towers in 5 seconds play Tristana.

Just pick MF/Lucian.. Lol there you have your freelo now.

TLDR; pick MF, jinx, lucian

But in all seriousness MF is relevant at all stages in the game and bullies lanes like Draven

Kalista is good at extended trades and is practically even godlike with a good support.

Draven does the highest raw ad damage from autos but if enemy mid gets fed its pretty much rip

Vayne is good but it either turns into a lane at the mercy of your support or a farm lane if you are doing bad. Best tank killer in the game

Lucian is probably up there with MF but he bullies even harder and is well vs pick comps.

Twitch is fun and shreds entire teams but at the risk of constant rengar, vi, malphite picks..etc

Varus.. Well he is good with cc lock supports but a terrible duelist

Sivir is okay. The entire comp can benefit from your ult and she counters supports like Leona, blitzcrank, and thresh zzzz.

Caitlyn is a lane bully with high range but awkward damage ratios late. I usually build runaans w her for constant headshots but she seems kindve feast or famine in lane like draven. If you lose to vayne or jinx its gg

Jinx is probably one of the other great solos champions because she can snowball after losing lane and aoe crits really make it easy to teamfight with

Graves is bursty but is so vulnerable to errors in trades. Reload is annoying..

kog: just don't unless you think the game will carry out till 30 min with a decent team

Urgot: don't

Quinn: okay.. I prefer quinn jg

Tristana: safest ADC, has self peel, good damage, and good waveclear, best siege and spltpush

Ezreal: he actually snowballs really hard but in kill lanes of your support gets hooked or CCD there is nothing you can do about it tbh. He can burst well and siege about as good as cait and jinx.. Highly mobile and annoys practically every bruiser

draven is high skill, high risk, and probably not as good as other adcs imo.. draven players tend to get cocky and try to solo the lane and end up feeding most of the time, good draven players are scary good but there are very few and they're all in diamond

kalista is a strong adc all around really, safe, good at kiting, good engages, you can save your support if they're in some shit. i love laning with her.

I play Kalista if I end up as ADC, what I would recommend is that she scales with artificial AD and on hit effects better than flat AD, so for the keystone I've been taking fervor of battle, build wise I usually get item 3153 or item 3085 first depending on if I want the sustain or if I can get a lot of rend reset trades off. I never used to build the red boot enchantment on her but I gave it a try not too long ago and with how long the speed boost lasts it can actually work better than expected. for runes I go flat health seals, AD marks, attack speed glyphs, 1 attack speed quintessence and 2 armor penetration quintessences. my final build usually looks something like this item 3153 item 3085 item 1300 item 3046 either item 3072 or item 3139 and item 3071 if they have armor, otherwise there are a few other potential items that you could consider, item 3091 if they have a lot of magic damage, item 3142 for a quick boost in mobility and damage, item 3043 potentially for the on hit but it does make your early game a bit weak, item 3812 could be considered as it will make you a bit more survivable in some situations but other options outshine this item. item 3156 if the enemy team has a lot burst magic damage. item 3078 is not recommended because it gives low attack speed and is quite expensive, Kalista also does not have a way to proc spell blade often. item 3036 item 3033 are both very situational if bought at all. item 3094 Kalista deals reduced crit damage so a crit based build isn't really that great. item 3157 if they have a fed Rengar.

For summoner spells, summoner 4 always, and either summoner 7 summoner 21 summoner 3 or summoner 1

Also I use this mouse and bind the ring click to attack move click, it makes kiting with auto attacks super smooth, would highly recommend trying this out if you want to main ADC.

Double down on the Attack Speed Items after Infinity Edge. Take objectives after winning teamfights. Then clear one wave and make your way back to base with your support. Return to lane. Farm. Repeat.
