I got Championship Riven in Hextech Crafting

I opened up a hextech chest just like any other day, but I got championship riven. As a riven main I was very excited about this since I did not previously have the skin. I had to buy rp to get more chests so I could get skin shards to turn into essence to craft the riven skin shard into a permanent, and when I tried to select the skin in champ select, it said that I didn't have it. Is this a bug? I feel like I've been scammed.

-Edit Helpful comment down below helped me solve my problem, I feel stupid for not knowing there are two skins but oh well.

Are you sure you selected the right one in champ select? There are two versions of the skin that show up.

Yup, the one that you couldn't select is the 2012 version (original) and the one you got is the 2016 version.

yes its a bug where u have to wait a bit before u instantly jump into a game for it to unlock
