Sunfire Cape (And Bami's Cinder + Cinderhulk) Interaction with Champions while taking Turrets

I know this is a problem for every tank against a high AD team. They buy Sunfire cape (or the jungler buys Cinderhulk) just for the stats. But then it comes to tower shoving time and all of a sudden the enemy Nocturn is wailing on you. His auto attacks merely tickle, but when the turret starts attacking YOU for causing unintended damage to the enemy you have to run back to the safety of your minions.

I know that it wouldn't make sense for sunfire cape (Cinderhulk) and Thornmail to do damage to the enemy without the turrets aggro turning to you. But also, the tank shouldn't be punished for buying resistances against the enemies at the expense of having good pushing power.

Maybe this is because without the aggro, tanks would have absurd pushing power. ( DrMundo Volibear )

Not sure if it is just me but having a toggle option for these special items would be very interesting gameplay change (excluding thornmail, given there is no visual way of telling if it is on or off).

This is just my opinion and I would like to see other opinions.

As a sunfire cape enthusiast, this is the downside to buying it, I'm kind of ok with it. There is a lot of early/mid game power in that aoe. Although if you ask me the same question during the game I'll start swearing and syaing that shit needs to be toggleable.

You have another armour + hp item to choose from for stats.

If you don't want the passive, randuins omen grants better health and armour, as well as a different passive and an active. I believe ohmwrecker may also give health and armour.

Sunfire Cape gives you pushing power at expense of taking turret aggro. If you don't want turret aggro but still needpushing power perhaps you should consider zz'rot portal.

I would say that the cinderhulk enchantment may have a case to being toggled as it isn't as optional as Sunfire Cape is (you can't build your machete in to a randuins omen).

Actually, I'm fairly certain Thornmail does not draw turret aggro. (I could be wrong, but I thought that was the main point that Sunfire enthusiasts challenged Riot with a while back).
