FIX or EXPLAIN: ANIVIA'S ULT!

I tried to write a giant paper explaining my thoughts with no response so I'll try the simplistic approach this time. Anivia's Ult is an immobile toggle so why can it be interrupted like a channel?

I don't understand why this is downvoted... it's a legitimate thing. It's the ONLY toggled ability in the whole game that is interrupted with cc but the tooltip for Glacial Storm doesn't even make you aware that it CAN be interrupted.

Because most toggles don't effect other champions outside of the field, when they get stunned/silenced. Aatrox Warwick RekSai

Karthus Swain DrMundo That's not true. Here are 3 examples. The only difference is Anivia's ult is not centered on herself.

None of those get stunned or silenced and have it stop? Maybe because they're still all self cast.

No, not a single toggle in the game, aside from Glacial Storm, have their effects ended due to a stun/silence/knockup. They are only affected in the way that they can not toggle them off willingly. Glacial Storm is the only one forcefully turned off by anything other than running out of mana or death.
