Honestly wondering why players continue to be amazed that K/D/A does not match player/role performance grade score.

i think i found the secret.. warding... i just played a game where i did HORRIBLE... http://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2201678064/207008136?tab=stats

and i still got an "S-", i was expecting a "B" or something with how bad i did

and the only thing i cant think of that could have POSSIBLY earned me an "S-" was either my 22 wards placed.. or jungle creeps killed in enemy jungle. but i can say for certain.. it sure as hell wasn't my KDA

I understand that it doesnt directly translate, but i had quite sufficient cs, did some wards, and had an all around good game. Took several towers and multiple objectives.

The game knows you are playing Lucian XD.

In all seriousness, how often did you ward? It may sound strange, but when the Grading System was first introduced, upgrading to a tier 2 trinket and dropping a ton of wards is an absolute must for an S or higher rank. Riot toned down a lot of the requirements for Hextech crafting, but you still need to drop ~10 wards for an S.

Notice your damage? Notice your gold? Compared to the people around you, you did very good. I'm sure Nidalee got an S+

Notice your level? You have a lot of gold and damage dealt for a level 16 Lucian at minute 35, at your elo.
