Grading System?

So I Just played a normal draft game....as Lulu support, and went 0/0/15......we won the game and my grade is A+?????? Can someone please explain the brackets of the grading system...I don't know what else to do as a support to get a S rank.

If a fellow player good help me with this It would be greatly appreciated. If I could get a red post even better.

From the way I've always though of a support and what other players expect from there supports, I think a 0/0/15 rating should be at least S-

Thank you For your assistance.

2/0/15 would've gotten you an S

I could not answer that myself. Not sure what it takes. I went 6-1 with J4 and got a B. You can go 5-5-5 and get a A.,. Don't know

So here is the deal with the ranking champion mastery system.

What we know is the systems grades your performance on a certain champion by comparing your game stats for that game, with all the other game stats for other recorded LuLu games.

So Riot is doing one of two things. Either A. They created a grade sheet awhile ago by recording in a giant log file all the stats of all the summoners rift games. Or B. They have an ever updating LuLu log file which records like all LuLu games in the last 30 days. Next they created a new column with an equation to provide a score based on your post game stats, and finally they created grade score ranges based on your score. The idea is that your mastery grade is how well you performed that game in relation to all other LuLu games played and recorded. So the score is not some subjective trivial number Riot created. You are graded against all other LuLu games by players.

After you play a game, a score is created and you receive a grade based on your score in relation to all other players.

Now what percentage score gets you what grade or what weight values or point values Riot uses to determine our scores is all kept secret for a reason. We do not know how our scores are calculated. All we know is our score / performance is graded against all other recorded games.

Hope this makes sense.

Your KDR is only part of your grade.

What else happened in your game?

Nobody but Riot can tell you what to do to get a good grade, and they are keeping it a secret.

Making unvalidated and untestable claims isn't going to get you a higher grade. Stop thinking it has anything to do with KDA.

The only reasonable way to get better grades is to get better at the game, or maaaybe play unconventional champions in unconventional roles, or kidnap a Riot employee and threaten them to reveal their secret. I wouldn't try that last one.

How about play the game to the best of your ability and not worry about the grade? Part of the problem is people are focused on their grade and not playing the game. Focus on the game instead of the grade and all will be better off in the long run. Of course logic is absent in the minds of the ignorant. Sorry but the truth sucks.

I consistently get S-type ratings on many supports I play, Lulu included. I frequently have a 2 to 3:1 kill/assist to death ratio, if not more in some cases. One game, I remember, was like 5/9/14 with an S- rating.

I couldn't tell you what the game is looking at and why I get S-type ratings over half the games I play, but I've been told that warding is factored in for supports. I've been told CS factors in. I've been told that it even factors in lives you've saved with your abilities, but not sure.

The only times I generally get lower than an A+ (which is like maybe 15% or the time?) is when my ADC is really horrible, and as a result, I flub up bad. Though, there have been some games where I've done what I always do, better or a little worse than normal, and still end up with sub-S grade. I simply shrug and move on to the next match.
