Why was the Jungle position weakened even further?

I could be wrong, but it seems like the latest Patch nerfed the Jungle position. Why decrease experience points on camps when Jungle is hard enough to keep up with XP and Gold to begin with? I thought throughout the recent past there was some focus on beefing-up the Jungle to make it more attractive to more players? Just a thought....

I jungle just fine since the lane phases got increased in time. I think you are just being a weenie*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*

Well seeing as Jungle has been the make or break role for awhile, I'd say its fine if they are weakened slightly. It got kind of old that games were decided by who was the better jungler despite how well the individual lanes performed.

Jungle has been a garbage role since 8.10. The 8.23 changes don't slightly weaken the jungle role. They hard gut the roles late game XP and hard gut any chance of creating a gold lead in the early game. I've had games where i'm 4-1-4 with amazing farm and my top laner is 1-7-1 and hes still to levels ahead of me. It's actually comical how bad the role is.

Thats hilarious because I see the exact opposite in nearly every topic about Jungle except for posts where people complain Jungle is too hard. You are hilariously delusional if you think Jungle was garbage at all this past year, it was the role with the most impact for majority of this Season. You can literally take any champion into bot lane because that lane is a fiest, mid lane is the only lane contesting Jungle for map influence, Top lane is and always has been a complete joke.

I have not seen Junglers struggling after the patch but I haven't played as much so take that with a grain of salt. However the rest of my comment is accurate. Perhaps try altering your jungle path or how often you gank, I believe the main goal of these nerfs is to stop a Jungler from being able to camp a lane from level 2 and on while maintaining gold and XP.

Because most of the laners have a thought process of: Me see enemy, me attack. Which leads, most likely, to getting ganked, which then leads to "boo jungle to strong. While I agree that certain jungle champs are way to strong, hello Graves, the majority are fine and have clear strong and weak phases over the game.

Riot doesn't understand that funneling is a product of the jungle role being weak, they think it's because the jungle role is strong. They don't understand that funneling is only good because the other jungler can't do anything of real value punish the AFK farming of the other team.

Just stop selecting the Jungle role. Play junglers that can shove waves in mid/top with smite. Jungle is just PVE support nowdays 0 carry potential unless the other team is inting, but carrying when the other team is inting is pretty meaningless. Better to select a role that can carry in a close game.

Personally I jungle alot and it still has immense impact as a role I am perfectly ok with the nerfs they gave .

coming from a jg main, we had waaaaaaaaaaay too much impact and i could easily get 3-4 levels ahead if i was winning, its a fine nerf outside of further funneling the meta into duelist and ganking jgs
