So the ranked season rewards have been announced...

And I was so hyped because I finally achieved Gold 5 this season.

However, I just decayed to silver after a 4v5 and it's been a downhill from there and i'm at 0 lp silver 1 now. I know I dropped because of my mmr decaying but please don't give me anything toxic or I think I will actually blow up from stress and shit. I feel like shit and I don't think I'll be able to win with this mentality, but I know I was at gold and did deserve it during the time there. I was just wondering if I'll get the season rewards because I peaked there, or I'll have to shake myself back up and climb again to get the rewards.

Idk I've never felt this sick and angry and upset and sad for a long time. Thanks in advance

I'm pretty sure you have to be gold+ at the END of the season. :/

U have until Nov 11th I believe to get gold again..if u want the lame sivir skin...

You'll have to get back to Gold V, unfortunately. By the way, decay doesn't happen below Platinum and it only decays your LP not your MMR as far as I'm aware..

If you lost enough to get kicked out of gold you were there for a looong time. There's a point at which you should realize that what you're doing isn't working. I parked at gold iv several weeks ago because the reward simply wasn't worth the risk and now I'm much better at adc than I used to be and I have an awesome new jungler. That's going to help when season 6 starts.

Luckily for you, the reward skin is one of the lamest possible choices. So if you don't make it back to gold in time, you aren't missing much. If you want a shiny blue Sivir skin Snowstorm is right there and she has lots of other choices anyway.

There's a reason Gold V is populating with 0 LP majority - people hit the bottom and don't want to risk demotion so they stopped playing ranked until the season is over.

This is false. Riot outlined the fact you need to have a given rank at the end of the season in order to receive its rewards in the 2015 Ranked Rewards article.

"Ranked rewards based on your end of season ranking, not peak ranking."

Where do you get that quote from? I could've sworn (at least last season) that it was peak ranking, maybe they did change it for s5 though.

Over the past 5 years, it has never been the "peak ranking". You should probably pay more attention to the official announcements and news. ^^

I believe it was peak rating in Season 4, though that was a decision they overturned pretty quickly.

Of course NOT. Over the past 5 years the rewards have always been given based on where you currently are / end up when the season ends.

Yes? Shouldn't be hard if you are a gold level player... if not, then obviously you don't deserve gold level rewards in the first place.

(ps. we all know you didn't drop because of "decay" ... you dropped because you played badly and got demoted. Decay doesn't happen in the low elos.)
