This was before they nerfed the hell out of healing and support ap ratios

We kind of had one in mid season 4. Solo lane lulu and soraka were extremely popular at that time. It only lasted a short time because assassin players complained a lot. It was a good time because players focused more on peeling than diving.

Yes, it was when Lulu always went top and mid was filled with Karma and Zillian.

Not sure if those three things were at the same time tho.

The worst in supports and supporting items are abuses. You give good item for supports? Midder/Topper/Jungler will take it and abuse ( , Philoso stone[], Heart of gold[] ) You will buff supports? They will change role to Midder/Topper/Jungler ( S2-S3; S4-S5; S6-S7; S1-S7; S1-S5; S1-S4; Above are only examples, but you know what I mean.

Riot should finally grow some balls, and create items that are restricted to any other role than supports, to prevent abusing those. Supports have too small amount of items, and mostly the builds are boring. Most of supporting items have poor statictics. E.G I like to play Janna in tanky style. I build and or or Why like this? Coz in present piece of steammy brownie meta I am so squishy, that I am dying from some AOE spells not even being targetted, so I cannot peel my ADC properly. As you see most of those items, are not support items, and are very expensive. To get full build I need game, which last minimum 35 minuts.

Anyway. I decided to make break from League. The reason is simple. Balance in game is dead. I feel like I am playing in URF not in regular summoners rift. WRONG DIRECTION RIOT GAMES.

We had Annie and Leona basically picked all the time. They had a huge impact on the game

Wasn't there a time when people would go one ADC with 4 supports/tanks to protect them?

my friends use to play soraka sup sona mid nid jng and kayle adc with garen top. they almost never died the heals were op everyone was rocking and once they heals started they never stopped. now they do w.e they want and run 4 to 5 on the team and stack them its sooo annoying to play against

Karma, Lulu, Soraka, Taric, Alistar, Sona, Janna, Morg, and Zilean were all prominent solo laners (or in taric/ali's case, jungle) at various points of LoL's history.

The closest to a 'support meta' would probably be Karma, Zilean, Lulu being thrown mid at various points during the past few seasons, although that might have mostly been due to the mid-assassin metas that were happening at the time.

Thing about 'support meta' is that its usually referred to as a hypercarry meta, due to ADCs wanting all of the glory.

I thought weve been in one since last season 6 to now. When champions like sorraka or janna were sky rocketing 56 percent win rates, and now we have champions like Malzahar or Zyra doing more damage than the actual adcs.

WE LITERALLY HAD A PRO GAME THE OTHER DAY WHERE BOTH SUPOPRTS SOLO KILLED THE ENEMY ADC AT THE SAME TIME.

What more do you spoiled "support" players want?

i think there was a time where Janna and Soraka were the best midlaners

zyra in bot out damaging the adc is not funny

yes and no... supports go in and out of flavor in both top and mid periodically, Soraka top was insane as was Karma top too at some point! Janna mid, Lulu mid/top, Tahm kench top/jungle so on and so forth and what have you

also, for the record, I FEAR, like seriously I fear the day that you can find 4 or 5 healers on a team... and currently, stacking redemption IS possible amongst the members of a team... so... yeah... scary
