Please don't nerf viktor (pls read)

So after seeing that he's gaining popularity in the LCS and they made him look OP (fuck you Faker I can make those plays as a viktor main) but pressing ER over a wall makes him look good.

But in all seriousness, it's obvious Riot nerfs champs that rise in popularity. You CAN'T nerf him now seriously, he's been out for 3 years and you can't nerf him because Faker made some mediocre plays on him.

Nerfing Viktor just because of the LCS would be stupid because solo queue is much much different than the LCS. Solo queue means you have no jungler to countergank 24/7, no peel usually, and stuff like that.

Another point is that he is barely mobile. He just has his Q augment and flash and maybe ghost if they run it. Now after 200+ viktor games I can also say he's weak to long range poke like Lulu, Xerath and Azir but also to assassins like zed and talon. High mobility champions like ahri or kalista give you problems too because missing one spell against them could turn your all-in into a death.

But please riot, don't nerf him just because Faker makes some mediocre plays. The LCS isn't solo queue. But even if you do nerf his damage (stupid idea he's easy to shut down early) make sure you buff his mobility or I'll just quit this game for good. He's my favourite champion and has got me from gold 5 to plat 3. I just love how hes underrated and is high risk high reward.

Thanks for reading (if you even read it) and I hope my main champ doesn't get nerfed due to the LCS or I'll probably quit the game. Viktor item 3070

They don't nerf champions because they are played well in LCS. They nerf them because LCS show ways to exploit their kit by limiting counterplay (Veigar Stun). If he does get nerfed, it would most likely be a small damage reduction on E.

Yeah but he has such a high winrate in LCS so I'm getting scared.

Typically champions played in the LCS etc. "filter down" into lower levels of play. What at one point was not a problem can become a problem due to meta shifts, new builds or a sudden realisation of how strong a champion has always been.

Riot probably doesn't watch the LCS and think "that needs a nerf". IT just so happens that the pros like to win and so pick the stronger champions - normally these are already on Riot's radar.
