League Needs In Lobby voice chats (Not only party)

Like it's stated up there.

I would like to hear my team since this is a competetive game with people that need to say some things related to the game WHILE PLAYING. Besides if you can talk to your team while playing you will play better those are #Facts, and you will be able to do combo's with your team more often. And i want to hear my teammates in general. (Think of CS:GO best example) And let's be honest altough the voice option can be abused too it's way easier to counter and to block, and will mosty likely be used in ways it's designed to be used.

I find it very odd and very stupid that this function was not implemented long long ago (No offense). This is a game were you have to be fast and fluent otherwise you will be ran over by people that play better then you and end up you not telling your concerns to your teammates and just be toxic about it in chat. #Bigfacts

Pro's Less chat restrictions Faster communication Everyone will get friendlier eventually (It's a human thing) You can hear the 12 year old's so you can capitalize on their plays or at least understand them You can tell your team you need help when you really need it. Etc etc

Con's None you can just turn it off in the menu and be sad the whole game long if you want to.

#Who is with me on this let's make it happen people we really need this!!!

Worst chase senario you will have to mute the 1 player that is talking trash, on the other hand he most likely won't be aggressive towards you since he has been hearing your voice for the past 20mins and that makes it so much harder to talk sh*t against you, and out of all that you can even make good/funny friends in game because you have already talked to each other for probably 20 or so minutes and will encourage you both to become good thogether.

I have experienced this myself in various games. Voice chat is perfect and a very simple concept. It has made my CS:GO experience so much more fun and beter in alot of new ways league could benefit from. Currently sitting on LEM because my buddy who i have met 3 years ago in a competetive lobby is still with me to this day and that makes you so much more driven to play at your best.

"REEEE FUCKIN NOOB I FUCKED YOUR MOM GIT REEEEEKT!!!!!!!" - Almost literally any game with voice chats that are enabled with a public party ever.

That's alongside the rest of his friends: the asshole blaring shitty music loudly, and the kid who's parents are arguing in the background. And then there's earrape mic guy, where it sounds like a fucking tornado is nearby him and the mic is inside his mouth.

Yeah...no ty.

I see where you are coming from, but I would genuinely stop playing with anything but full premades if general voice chat becomes a thing in league of legends. I don't mind toxicity in chat form but in talking form it gets to me. I would either have to turn it off permanently or mute them as soon as they start flaming. Also if you mute someone will you not talk through each other all the time.

I will upvote the post for visibility though because I am interested in where this discussion currently stands

To me, CS:GO is the perfect example of why not to have voice chat in League of Legends. I don't want to hear someone being as toxic as they can because they can, I don't want to hear someone's music coming in all garbled because they think it's awesome, I don't want to hear someone yelling at another person in the other room, etc.

CS:GO has multiple work arounds for these problems, not the least of which is you can join a different server, one with like minded people. You can leave the server full of immature players and find (or start) a server where people are chill and just there to have fun playing a game. That's not an option in League. Mute works OK for a 5 minute match, but it becomes worse the longer you're suppose to work with someone.

Additionally, we'll see Pings go the same way as being able to play every role. People who are using voice chat will either drop pings all together (as seen by people who learn to play this game with a premade always on voice chat) or they'll resort to simple blue dot pings (as seen in the LCS). Muting Voice in a world with Voice Chat will hurt you more than not having voice chat now.

Hey, have you ever played pubg? Have you heard the waiting area and i plane chat? Want to see that at league? I don't think so.

Considering the amount of toxicity the community manages through just text and pings? no thanks.

im all for it as long as you have to physically add yourself too the chat, like start off disconnected to it by default and have a completely separate voice channel for duos so you can still only talk to your queued partners like currently
