What is Going On with the Lag?

So, ever since Patch 5.24, I have been experiencing lag spikes periodically throughout games. I live on campus, so when I play with my brothers, it turned out they were getting lag spikes at the same exact time that I was. We are on different networks, so I don't quite understand what is going on. And in my last game, everyone on the Rift experienced two lag spikes at the exact same time. Everyone. I've also found that there have been way more disconnects and lagging from people, and I haven't encountered this much lag since 5.16, and then Riot went a fixed the issue. I was wondering if anyone else has been encountering this issue, and is anyone working on fixing it? Thanks, and Happy Holidays!

ive been experiencing these problems first and 2nd hand since 5.22, ive made posts about it as have others i know, other than this post here the only one ive seen stay longer than a half hour before being removed was a post about how some guy was saying that whenever he lags out like this hes noticed that there will be a minion somewhere that will just stop and hang out wherever it was, i have also noticed these lazy minions and ask people if they've had a lag spike recently (usually replied with yes')

anyways, my point is this, there is a problem, its been ignored too long, it needs to be addressed, im getting tired of having a DC player on my team most the time UNLESS im the DC player.... not a fun time

(and yes im getting grouchy about it as my posts get removed though there is no vulgarity and in the off chance they arent removed they are heavily edited [stop changing my words] instead of simply replying and informing me of what is going on)

UPDATE lag has improved immensely, the odd bits of lag that happen are rare and usually clear up quickly (if not then it usually ends up being an issue on my end lol ) thanks Riot for the ongoing effort and dealing with all the salt XD

I have been getting TONS of lag after the last update. It's driving me crazy, causing me to get reported for "afking" which I'm not, I just can't move! I have ran several different speed tests which come up to nearly the same results roughly 30-33 ping. I can run and stream movies without any issues but every game I play in League has had people afking/lagging at the exact same times I am. This isn't cool. I'm sick of these lag issues every single time Riot introduces a new patch. They need to get the bugs worked out before they release it.

I have been getting lag as well recently. I have not DC'd from game but I have had at least one person in that DC for at least some period of time every game since new patch. Could be server. Most likely is the server. Lets be honest. Its the server :3
