When leashing at bot side I found i'd miss the first 3 creeps in lane as they would die to minions. With the added sustain of smite leashes no longer needed to be as heavy so that offset. However junglers were demanding harder leashes for smiteless starts. Sure the loss of a few cs can be offset by an early kill due to a gank. **My point is ** would a later jungler start not only worsen those bot lane's first wave?
That or they could just jungle Aatrox or WW.... both who still don't need a leash at all. :P
you shouldn't miss a single cs unless you leashed till the monster literally died
It just forces them to use smite now.
maybe you weren't using any spells to speed up the kill that forced you to lose cs?
Riot doesn't know, they're just making trivial changes to the game so they can look like they're doing something important when the supervisor walks over and they have to tab out of their League match
Why not just have the support leash them the whole way and have the carry rush to the wave when they crash?That's what I do.
I'll have to time it in game but typically I arrive just in time to kill the first 3 melee minions after leashing. As Jhin that would be 4 autos and a Q but I wouldn't suggest ANYONE miss CS for the jungler's leash. That may sound selfish but it's usually a race to level 2 in lane. I can foresee ADC going to lane and support leashing now, not sure how top lane starts will work.
If you leave the leash at the right moment, and take the shortest possible path to lane, you should be able to get the entire first wave of cs with most ADCs. You'll probably have to cast an ability to catch all 3 melee minions, but it can be done basically every time.
before this patch, smiteless leash was costless.
