Problems With the New Fiora Art

I want to start this by saying that I LOVE the new Fiora kit. It has a more duelist feel and it brings in a new mechanic that seems really unique and fun, so I commend the rework team for creating something awesome. The art, on the other hand, is honestly pretty bad. She looks like some over-exaggerated disney villain. My suggestion to fix her new design is to bring back her old hairstyle (because the new one honestly is shit) and to tone down the features of her face. Old Fiora had a really soft face that was fairly unique, why make it worse looking by accentuating her cheekbones so much? Look at Royal Guard Fiora. That is what her face and hair should look like (except with the pinkish-red streak on her other skins instead of that weird pale pink she has now). Thoughts?

Yea I hate the new splash art. Especially since the current classic and royal guard splashes are among my favorites in the game. The new one just looks way too cartoonish.

I have to agree with the sentiment.

My first thought when I saw the new splash was "Holy crap, it's Cruella Deville. What happened to Fiora?"

The face is so harsh and angular, rather than the soft and beautiful face we're used to.

I don't hate the hair, but I don't like it either. I'm much more partial to the original style with the single streak.

As others have mentioned she also looks way too old. This is supposed to be someone young, early 20s ish right? I'd peg the new splash art in her mid 30s.

Again as others have said, if this were a new champion I'd be fine with all of it, but it's a pretty huge departure from the accepted age and appearance of an existing character.

Fiora went from being a young, beautiful French girl to a middle aged, grumpy Disney villain with too much makeup.

(On a more positive note I'm thrilled with the kit changes!)

She never needed a model change. The new models for all her skins look terrible.

Her splash is really bad too. Her hair is ruined with the shape and color and her face looks like she just had plastic surgery. Her left leg looks so messed up and not portioned right at all..

Yeah that's who Fiora is and all her current splashes are actually doing a good job keeping her face consistent throughout all of her skins. This new departure into an evil lady stereotype face seem unnecessary and unfitting. Her current face has a perfect combination of snobby confidence and soft collected grace.

The only problem I have with her art-wise is her head in her splash.

He hair/scalp bug me (she must have a good head to rest a drink on its so flat) Her upturned nose and the length of her philtrum make for a Disney villain-esque unattractive face to look at The lighting on her face is a bit too much, especially on her chin.

Everything else I actually like quite a bit. Her outfit and sword look much more streamlined, as if her sword and her body are one piece. It's quite amazing actually. Just look at how the arm and the sword designs mesh together:

Please riot, I understand you worked hard on this but the splash art falls so short of that teaser please fix it. Having older characters is fine but changing a young character to and old one is not okay.

I'm a Fiora main. In fact the only reason I realy play this game is because of Fiora. I own all the skins and I think they are are some of the best in the game.

Those new models look terrible. The splash looks terrible. Please keep her orignal half cape! It's the reason she looks bad ass! In fact there is no reason to change the model or the splash arts!

That new model looks like part of the Taj Mahal is mounted on her shoulder!
