I recently played a game with an udyr player and he got way to over powered. He was strong enough to solo Baron Nasher. Twice. To minions he was dealing about 600 non crit damage and with a crit he was dealing higher than 1000 damage, and he was able to two shot kog maw.

In that game, it wasn't "Udyr" that did so much damage, it was "player who was far ahead and full build". You see, it's not anything in the champion's kit that caused that Udyr to do so much damage, it was the gold advantage he had. It allowed him to snowball and buy items, and the items are what lended the damage.
EndlessSorcerer1 votesThat Udyr had 46 kills, Infinity Edge, and stacked AD (6 large AD items, no boots). At level 13, most of the non-smurf players are still learning how to play.
Udyr isn't really a big issue, since he's fairly balanced at the moment.

Most likely, you were playing with a smurf and they tend to dominate newbies.
You need to have more experience with the game before you can really contribute anything to balance discussions; otherwise, you don't actually know enough to properly discuss or evaluate the topics.
