How do you climb as a person who works full-time and is married?

Hello all,

I'm a teacher and married to a beautiful wife. I want to climb in league of legends, though and I find that life gets in the way! Teach me anything you know to help me climb to diamond!

sadly the best way is to make league your life and play 12 hrs a day ...

from your ranks on op.gg you are a decent player , gold and plat for the last 3 seasons. but you have less then 250 rank games... to truly climb you have to grind and practice and grind... which is why i made my comment of making league your life... but you are a grown up with a career and wife/family maybe those should be your focus ( which it seems they are) and use league as what it is meant for ... entertainment ... to enjoy , its just a game

oh well clearly you have disposable income now, so that means you pay someone to do it for you!

jk

you really cant climb in one sitting without being superb compared to your opponent. in that situation you play and start over the full duration of the year, and hope for the best end result. if you have a job that usually means you have time after work or on weekends. so basically you have the opportunity to play about 14 or more games a week, 1 on weekdays after dinner or kids are asleep and 2 on each weekend day whenever you get the chance or up late.

you use those 5 to 14 games a week and it adds up over the season coming close to 200-400 over the season that you have access to. but if you play less than even 5 games a week you'll have maybe 100 games which isn't ideal but its possible and you can get an ok representation.

Same way either of you does anything alone. It only starts getting tricky when there's a baby in the mix too.

Make some time on your days off?

If you're a teacher you should be able to climb a decent amount during seasonal breaks right?

-I would usually play 1 maybe 2 games a day, usually when the wife was not home, or bz cooking/cleaning w/e wives do.

  • I would get one day where my wife was at work and I was at home so I'd usually play alot then.

  • if your already high elo than I would tell u to quit, cause it will be hard playing against these kids with nothing but time on there hands. maybe play some ARAM or normals for fun here and there just to get ur fix until u can go cold turkey

best of luck

You don't. On top of having no free time and too much going on to devote mental or emotional energy to the game, your reflexes are slowing down with age. Being good at League of Legends is for highschoolers.

its hard cause you will always go on these massive win streaks followed up by loss streaks, which is prob due to match making wanting to keep you at an even or maybe slightly above 50% win rate.

If you're better than the division you're currently in, you'll climb. Best way to get better is to play a lot, but because of your situation that isn't possible, so just watch high elo streams if you ever have free time just to see how they play.

PS track the enemy jungler and you'll go up like 2 tiers.
