Champion to learn and master?

DarkPhatom··2 votes·2,278 views

I’m currently in Silver 1 on this account, on my previous one I managed to get to Diamond 5, but I was maining Ivern back then, so it doesn’t really count lol.. But this time I would like to climb and learn with a higher skillcap champ, who is able to carry games, but I don’t know who should it be. I prefer mid and top. I’m searching for someone who isn’t expected to be nerfed hard sometime soon and is good not only in late game, because in this elo people don’t really play safe as I see, so would be useful if I had pressure in midgame as well. I really enjoy playing Fiora, but I struggle with her in teamfights. So I would be thankful if you guys could give me some suggestions for a champion, which if I learn to play properly, I will have a higher chance to carry games with. Thanks in advance!

I actually played some games with her, cuz I got her slayer skin. Shes pretty fun tho, only problem is I’m not very good as ADC :(

Jinx isn't op which means she's thrash as an adc.

There's 0 reason to pick her over Trist/xayah, other than personal preference.

Gangplank High skillcap, can carry, sweet skins, global impact, mid or top, AD item reliant = more stable items

There was a time when I decided to learn him, but I lost like 70% of the games with him and I quit him. Don’t ask why, I’m actually stupid but might try him again. I really like his kit and playstyle.

Yasuo Zed Irelia Leblanc Riven are some high-skill champs, then theres the mid skill level

Fiora Camille Corki Gragas those are mid skill (theres more ik), hope this helps!

Well Fiora is a split push champ. It's very hard to only send one champ to deal with her. Play the new Irelia!

Azir and Camille are very hard champs to master from what I've learned. Camille is good late game and Azir can steal buffs like there's no tomorrow when he gets AS and a lot of AP. Azir is much more fun than Camille for me but it's all preference.

I main Ekko and he is beyond fun to play and get good with but he's difficult to carry with but it is possible as long as your bot lane isn't feeding hard.

Well, Azir isn’t really my type, but would love to try Camille. She seems pretty fun to me due to his E ability and how much mobility and outplay potential does it give her. Thanks for your answer!

No offense, but wanting to learn specifically a "high skill cap" champ is just a stupid idea. I'll always have more respect for a Diamond Annie player than for a hard-stuck Silver Azir player, no matter how higher Azir skill cap as a champion is compared to Annie. The skill cap of a champ doesn't matter until you as a player reach it and are limited by it, and using specifically a high skill cap champ is simply misplacing your ego and your pride.

You want a champ able to carry games? Well, apparently you can carry games with Ivern, if you reached Diamond. That being said, team-fights aren't supposed to be Fiora stronger point. She's better at split-pushing. But she's definitely a high-skill cap champ and she can carry games, and is usually considered top tiers.

I respect your opinion and appreciate your answer, but I got a lot of hate just because I played Ivern. “braindead champion”, 0 skill etc. I couldn’t help it tho, I truly enjoyed playing him but I couldn’t take that amount of hate again. My friend got to master playing Katarina and Riven, and everyone respected him because he knew Riven’s kit insanely well. I just want something like that.

Hate from who? From random anonymous in the enemy team? They'll hate you no matter what champ you play, as long as you beat them ^^' If you want my opinion, just mute them and move forward. And this is coming from a Garen main, so trust me I receive my fair share of "noob champ" and other niceties in game.
