why is it that whenever i play ranked and win i only get like 15 lp. My friends on the other hand get like 30 to 40. why is that because at this rate ill be in silver forever. :/

its your mmr, just keep playing and most importantly, keep winning and youll get out of silver

I mean if you think about it this way, if you are good enough to climb you'll win the majority of your games, and your MMR will change, and start giving you 30 LP per game, it just takes a bit.

The whole ranked ladder is a struggle and your friends will eventually hit a wall like you have. Maybe not in silver but they will stop moving so quickly eventually.
