Twisted Treeline - and how Riot has killed it.

Once upon a time when TT was a really fun alternate to SR.. with the addition of alters, lane control, and objective control. Game's didn't last too long, if you wanted to burn through a competitive match.. now here we are playing 50minute games because of tweaks to towers and alter control... control both alters? nothing really "controlling" happens. even the vilemaw buff is a joke imo.. the game mode has been ruined. why would anyone WANT to play it. hence no solo queue ranked hah. thanks rito.

Yeah I actually used to play on several plat/diamond 3s teams a couple seasons ago, and it was actually quite fun!

There were a couple different kinds of viable strategies to use, it was honestly kind of like rock, paper, scissors, and it worked out great!

But then not only did Riot tweak the towers and buffs, but they added in another extra tower for some dumb fucking reason and destroyed one of the 3 main strategies, meaning there was just "rock, scissor" left, so one of them was no longer viable and you're now stuck with one singular way to play, and it takes for fucking ever to finish a game.... which is basically just which team wins a late game teamfight and then they just steamroll every single tower standing making the rest of the game seem utterly pointless....

it's garbage, they've ruined the gametype, they've ruined the strategy.

I would nerf vilemaw hard and remove his buff so you only get like 1.2k gold for everyone of your team. that would make it more interesting. Also lowering the queue times under 15 minutes would be a smart decision

or make the objective really strong so you have the ability to end the game..... like baron. instead of a weak buff that can just prolong the game.
