Leaver Penalty for not clicking Lock in

So recently I got a leaver penalty for not clicking the "Lock-In" button in Dynamic Queue which has me both disappointed and confused.

Why do I have to click on the "Lock-In"" button? What happened to the auto lock-in while hovering a champion?

This just seems like a really simple thing to have missed...
