Demotion in light of leavers/afk

Hey guys! I love this game so much! I hope you do as well, anyway, I just got out of my ranked match with a leaver at lvl 6, the game lasted about 45 minutes after that, but it ended with us losing, at the time I had 0 LP so I got demoted, so I had an idea! Tell me what you guys think about it. What if, when the League client see that a person has been afk, and it shows up in the after game, with an X over their name, it made it impossible to be demoted, and you only lose half of the normal LP. Now, this could be abused with a duo or a flex, and if that is the case, see if the leaver was in a party before he left in game. Also, on top of the leaver buster, what if you lost more LP if you left, and if you left at 0 LP, it was a 100% chance to be demoted. Any way, Thanks for yall's time!
