How about bringing back Team Builder? Instead of the circle jerk that is blind pick? Reasons?

It actually worked. The wait time wasn't any more or less than the blind pick option, especially because some people start searching then walk away the crap and don't hit "I'm Ready". It eliminated the "mid or feed" child that happens once out of every 5 games. People got to play the role they actually wanted to and be setup, before searching. Without risk or their favored champ being banned.

I'm not saying get rid of Draft Pick, that has it's place preparing players for ranked games. However, if you were going to choose between Team Builder and Blind Pick, why on earth go with the method that creates the most trolls and most abysmal method of making a team?

Bring back Team Builder. It was easier to play with friends and easier for said group of friends to find a solo if needed, and not start a fight between players who are friends, and the solo player.

i couldnt agree more. i miss team builder so much. i have been trying out other moba games but i really just miss my dj sona. nothing was more fun to me than to just play her. now i cant get into a game with out teammates telling me to change characters or go to a role that im no good at playing then having that said team harassing me because im no good with the champ they told me to play as or im not doing good in my lane that isnt sup. teambuilder was about having fun as well, not about being super competitive. but until team builder is back ill just keep trying to find a new moba to play

Ever since Riot made Team Builder for those above level 25, I knew they didn't like it. Making new players wait a long time just to use it.

But it worked so much better. Wait time will always be a problem. I would like to propose an actual comparison. Since they decided to only have 2 methods of creating matches outside of Ranked, and Poro King is no longer a thing. We are left with Blind Pick (which is the original idea that everyone knew from when the game started) and Team Builder (new and different) Blind Pick: "Mid or I feed" "I wanted to play that champ" Auto lockers People walking away and having to wait Trying to play with friends in blind pick, where everyone has to have a copy paste of what they want.

Team Builder: Pick your champion and lane. The wait time is the same as blind pick and you get the same problem of people walking away, but if they dont hit ready, you can boot them and wait for a new person. So no one ever goes into a game without being there. Easier to build a team with friends If you want to be the group leader and make decisions, go ahead.

I can't wrap my head around what made them decide Blind Pick was better than Team Builder, and how dumb of a decision that was.

i really wish riot would come out and tell us why they got rid of team builder because like you said it doesnt make any sense what so ever. i feel like they literally might have pulled a random person from the street and said "ok random person point to the screen and tell us what mode to get rid of" then that random person unknowingly points to team builder. riot: "alright thanks for your input random person this will make everyone happy" until i hear otherwise this is what i imagine went down at the riot office

Why can't we keep all the queues around? I get that it would dilute the players currently online, but with League being the statistically "mosy-played game in the world ever" I imagine there would be enough in each queue to make wait times not-awful.

Why not put all of them on live for a month and then remove whichever one is seeing the smallest playerbase/longest wait times?

it was the only reason i came back to the game. its removal is the reason i quit again. i dont like draft and blind pick, i dont like having to argue with my team over what im gonna play and in what lane, so many years of that shit has exhausted me and i cant be bothered with it anymore. i'll just go back to hots so i can guarantee play what i want in every match.

the removal of this feature is baffling. who cares about dividing the playerbase on the largest online game on the planet

I made a poll on bringing back team builder. 95% of respondents wanted to bring it back.

When Team Builder came around, I was all I played. I only did draft pick for ranked, and that was rare.

Now because my two main roles are jungle and support, I can't queue with support as my secondary role because it's still all I'll ever get. I want to play who I want, when I want.

Or people could be less retarded and sit and wait until they it pops.. If you are going to play a god damn round of league then make sure you understand the consquences. dont leave your pc until you are in the loading screen into the game. or do everything before hand. its not that hard. iT'S not the new modes fault. It's pretty fucking nice. It's the people who need to be doing stuff all the time and have a short attention span with waiting to play;. SO STOP EVERYBODY BITCHING! It's the fucking same concept. You dont like it? Go play something else.

Did you really only read 1 part of 1 sentence and come up with this? I never said it is the new modes fault, also, there isn't a new mode. There is a new look and method for the same 2 original modes. There is no more picking a champ and lane then waiting for people to join and fill the other slots. It also allowed much more freedom of teammate selection. It eliminated the fights about who will be what lane and champ of blind pick, while still not being as cumbersome as Draft Pick. Draft pick also doesn't allow same champs and has bans (which bans can't be skipped anymore). The people getting up and walking away is a problem no matter what mode you chose when people sit there and wait for you to hit "Ready" or miss the "Ready" selection box. I wasn't debating that, so please re-read my post and come up with an original thought and something actually on target to the topic at hand, not just blindly blathering. Cause if people didn't point out pros and cons of things, nothing would ever change. "So stop bitching" cause it isn't the same concept, which is exactly my point.

the issue about bringing team builder back isnt based on us not liking the new champ slection. its the fact that team builder is gone. period. in fact i think the new champ selection has real potential for draft. sure it has its flaws but its brand new. but like i said the new champ slection isnt the issue for those of us who want team builder back.

-team builder allowed for people to play with their friend way more easily. -it allowed people to try new champs and roles with out a super toxic environment (not saying that toxic players didnt play team builder but i ran into way more nicer players than i did toxic ones playing team builder). -it allowed people (like me) who can really only play one champ well and have fun with that one champ no matter what. -lastly it was just fun. even if i lost a game in team builder both my team and the opposing team usually all had fun while playing

and when you say "SO STOP EVERYBODY BITCHING" it's the fucking same concept" if you are referring to the new champ selection being the same to team builder than you are wrong unfortunately. the new champ selection might be similar to team builder but its a much more shallow version of it. like i said before i think it will be great for draft games but it cant replace team builder. but draft has a completely different player attraction than team builder does. while draft is very competitive team builder is just fun. i get that everyone has fun playing different things but not everyone has fun being ultra competitive to try to get to the next rank. some of us just want to sit back relax with their favorite champ and play a game or two.

Some of us prefer Blind Pick to Team Builder. I don't want to go into a team and be forced into picking one champ/position to play, I want to pick whatever I want at a moments notice and just get into a game. Sure, if I know I want to be Jax top then Team Builder is great to be certain of the champion/role, but some of us don't care exactly who we are going to be.

Team Builder was not as fast as Blind Pick. If you didn't want to run support or jungle you usually waited several minutes for one to join the team you got into before you could actually go into a game. Sure you could go do something else while you wait, but if I just want to get into a game then Blind Pick is much faster.

I say have the new dynamic que replace team builder, and bring back drafts with a new GUI.
