Lmao ignore most of these iron comments. You're not supposed to lose lane as any champion, especially not Jax. If you go into a game expecting to lose lane you're a liability to your team, not an asset. What happens if a single other lane besides yours loses? That's the game right there.
You have to play very aggressive as Jax or else you will get bullied. You want to trade every moment E is up. Your kit means you can trade and do a tonne of damage and then back out before your enemy can retaliate. This means that even against bullies like Darius and Renekton, as long as you concede cs you can keep your health bar higher than theirs. All takes a 2 - 3 rotations to get your opponent too low to bully you off cs. Remember as any champ in a tough matchup, XP is always > CS. Stay in lane -> level up -> outscale.
Basic harass combo:
- Hit creeps a few times to get attack speed. If you're level 6 then hit creeps an even amount to get 3rd strike proc ready.
- Start counter strike
- Q
- Auto attack
- W for auto reset
- run away
If your opponent lets you walk up, save your Q to chase their escape.
Skill ranking:
Melee matchup: W -> Q -> E
Ranged matchup: Q -> W -> E
If you feel like you need a shorter cooldown on E, put more points into E, but always make sure your W is maxed by level 13.
and
are both good items to rush. An early
or
will also work wonders. Your first 3 items should be
. Titanic gives you an auto reset so you can auto -> W ->
for instant 3 hit combo.
