I'm going to admit something. I suck at league. It's not that I can't play any of the champions or I don't know the mechanics or I don't know how to build or land skill shots or last hit minions (okay, maybe I don't know how to do that), or how to set up my masteries or runepages or masteries or abilities or anything like that. It's the basic stuff. Really the stuff that happens early game. I can't go into lane and survive. I don't know how to position myself so that I don't die. I don't know when I should conserve mana. Basically, my biggest problem is that before first back, I'm either dead, really low on health, oom, or Talon . somebody please help. I don't know how to lane, I don't know how to farm when I'm a melee champ laning against a ranged champ, I don't know how to conserve mana. I don't know how to know if I can 1v1 a champion or if a champion is in a position where they can easily get to me and kill me. Could anyone give me any tips? I really need help.

play really easy champions and watch either coaching videos or high level plays and watch what they do and imitate it.

Here are two youtube channels that have (and continue to) help me immensely:

This channel has basic tutorials on positioning, etc: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeGtVfZD9LVttCJzjIJLY1g

This channel has more advanced and detailed coaching videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/lastshadow9

It'll be much easier to watch some of their videos than me trying to explain things in text. Hope it helps

EDIT: the important thing is to remain flexible; there's no flowchart to playing the game (unless you're Warwick). A lot of things you'll learn through practice and reflecting on your game, thinking of why you made a mistake and what you could do better next time.

Try taking like a 10 hour skillshot dodging class thing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnE6tiHElSc You may find this link useful, as well as the channel in general. It teaches you about trading in lane (meaning doing/receiving damage). There's so many videos on youtube that can help you out because you can see everything explained and in action.

A lot of knowledge comes with time and practice. You have to play a lot of champions to learn their kits, or at least read about them so you know how to fight everyone.

Getting good at league isn't something that happens over night. If you truly want to get better at league, you will. But you have to actually want to be better
