Why can people first time champs in ranked

Seriously, it's fucking ridiculous. Since we already have the champion mastery system in place can people only be able to champs that they are mastery level 3 or higher with? Also this prevents people from getting to level 30 and instantly hoping into ranked and feeding. If you need at least 20 MR 3 champions that's at least 120k mastery points so that's 100+ normal games needed before you play ranked. And most importantly people actually need to try new champions in a few normal games...

Because some classes, if you know how they work, you can basically play any champions belonging to that class. For example: Lux main knows she hits her q first then follows up with everything else. Anivia does practically the same thing.

First timing is a good option in many games... It's better to first time Morgana/Nami than play let's say Sona into it even if you are experienced with her.

Why can people onetrick in ranked?

If their onetrick gets banned they will have to first time. This is unless this happens multiple times before and so you either have to dodge a lot, or get proficient with another champ.

Mastery points doesnt mean theyre good. Can have people flash their mastery 5 and not even know how to build the champ or what to skill up first
