Ok, one thing. You dont seem to get why this is such a huge thing. the issue is not about building sightstone. or going singed support. Its about purposly overtaking the support role, to ditch a actualy ADC player in a 1v2 at botlane to make attempt to proxy other lanes and counterjungle.

Said person has already readied copy-paste macros to deny his allies requests, and also kicked a person on his team in the drain for his own expense of pleasure. This is an issue that surpasses the simple prospect of winning or losing. Its not about being foking VIABLE or not. its about being a total dick to a stranger on the internet just because this is a damn game. How is this act even flat out honest or humane? tell me.

I'm pretty sure that if u do it in ranked it IS about winning, and if he has positive winrate with it (which means that most of the games hia team is winning), then why is that a problem?

That should actually be encouraged in a game to keep the meta shifting, to prevent the game from stagnating. Any attempt to force a playstyle on people is literally forcing the game another step towards death. People will get tired of the same thing over and over. They will then quit and move on to something fresh. League can sustain those losses for quite some time, but eventually it will hit critical mass and the game will die.

He's not being an asshole by doing what he does in a game for his own entertainment and winning. The people who try to force their own playstyle on others are the assholes.

And people wonder why Trump won.

I can say that the other way around. Why does this single person enforced his dictation on other 9 people in the game? I made this on another thread and one simple example is why offside has become a penalty in soccer. If its not a penalty, it allows humongous dick moves which you can leaves teammates and hug the enemy goalkeeper. It ruins both your team and enemies experience so HARD that winning wont matter for the other players on the end.

Yeah, and I supported trump even though Im in foking damn Japanese on another country, and since from the very start he made his campaign. Your sentence seems to think voting or supporting him is wierd from the start.

What you are missing is the lone player is not forcing the others to do certain things or play a certain way. They are still free to play their own champions however they see fit, within their own skill limits. That is the critical difference.

Also, I don't know any rules in soccer at all. That game is right up there with baseball on my "do not give a shit cuz boring as fk" list.

probably. hopefully they either repeal this stupid decision (which they wont) or the community actually rises up and starts banning anyone who does anything remotely different until everyone is playing the exact same 10 champs - which is honestly more likely to happen either all at once as an act of defiance or over time due to the continued increase in acceptance for toxic players who think it's their right to tell other players how to play. either way from now on my team is picking my champion for me. first thing i say when i enter ranked or normals is "who do you want me to play? i dont want to be banned for not communicating and cooperating." if they refuse to say anything i click something random and build sightstone then stand directly in the center of bottom lane. then i start asking how i should build my champion.

what happens to the fans of the other ~134 champions? do we just not play that season or patch update?

this guy got banned for playing a champion that he loved and was very good at. it doesnt matter how this discussion is twisted. there is no justice to this ban. this is blatant bias and double standards.

You dont get that the winrates, or victories did not matter at that stage when the match ended for the players who reported him do you. DIsregarding the only goal of winning for hatred is simply makes it not a game anymore.

You simply dont get that this report ban was done due not of this players playstyle. Its not about being DAMN meta, its about being a human being. YOU dont simply FOKING DONT purposly stab someone in the back, and use game rules to protect yourself of argument. This is a serious offense since gaming is ENTERTAINMENT with STRANGERS. Are you simply mistaking the whole purpose of this issue that is rocking the whole community just because its is posted on a gameplay balance board!? Then I have to say you need to think further.

what are you going to do when 3 months down the road you find out that when you queue up for velkoz or sejuani that where ever you wanted to play that champion you no longer can. what are you going to do when you can no longer velkoz support?

velkoz is not listed as a support and has no support function. if you make an argument for support velkoz then your entire argument is flawed and invalid.

the entire argument that you're making is this

if players dont like certain role and champion combinations then players shouldnt be allowed to play those combinations because riot is a big company.

if that's the case then why did riot waste their time designing 150 champions? literally 35 would have been plenty. 7 for each lane. why did riot waste their time designing over 300 items? 60 would have been plenty. this is supposed to be a game about skill where a player can find a champion he or she loves and connects to and then take that champion on a journey with other players to try and become the best at the game WITH THAT CHAMPION.

this is hardly an overreaction. im standing up for what i think is right. if you dont agree then that's fine.

from this day forth im reporting players who dont "communicate and cooperate" however i plan to take a LONG break from this game until i feel this community is open-minded enough for my return.

you'd better be ready league. im not the only one. good luck finding anyone other than soraka sona and janna mains to support you. by the end of season 7 queue times will be so long that riot will have to ceate a new system that forces even more players into support. theyve already had to rework a ton of mages to fit the support role and cover their double standards.

the act of suspending an account based on an interaction in game about what is the right way to play something is IRL. that's the problem that so many players now do not understand. you're not interacting with computers or AI. you're playing with other people. you cant make them conform. it's literally not possible. what has happened is riot has punished a player for something they have not clearly stated is a punishable offense in either of their summoner code or their EULA. In fact they have indirectly upheld something that directly correlates with the exact opposite statement and have also stated that it is not something that is a ban-able offense and have provided guidelines to follow which are in direct conflict with the outcome of this specific case. that is all IRL

the problem with the word trolling is that its definition is neither accepted by the english language nor is it well defined. trolling at best is described as an informal verb that means to post messages online in order to provoke a reaction. that could be a number of things in this game and is honestly one reason why people are so scared of trolling because they dont exactly know what it is because it's not properly defined.

i only play smite support ivern , i made a huge post with the details . its amazing how you guys cant read and comprehend why this singed was ban it was not biased at all. if he wants freedom from supporting and the ability to take other lanes farm then sure the game allows him to do that , but he needs to que as jungler . this way he doesn't have to rob exp from his jungler, rob exp from all 3 laners , not build any kind of support items and take kills. my thing is this he can play the exact same way he wants to play but he only has to que for jungler . but he cant do that because he wont have his meat shield of 4 allies as pawns in his plan to make the game unplayable.
