Future of League of Legends

I have just saw the new runes system and I think that with these changes whole game will lose alot of players because that is a huge change,game probobly wont lose new players but players from season 1 to season 6 are gona most likely to quit the game. Im sure that with changes like this League of Legends will be destroyed as a game. Its population will drop dramaticly and people will not enjoy it like before because these changes are kinda unnecesery and a bit stupid. Im sure that after these changes im gona quit league of legends and alot of my friends who play it will quit as well because riot itself is ruining the game because of these changes.

Changes like this are completely necessary for the long term survival of the game. Leaving the game exactly as it is will kill it far more quickly because people will get bored.

Speaking seriously, Riot changing the game isn't going to push away players who weren't already on their way out. Riot changes this game every 2 weeks to some extent. We've gotten used to it. If you're saying that "new runes" are the reason you're quitting, you were looking for a reason to quit anyway and didn't want to make the usual complaints.

I'm a fairly new player and haven't been here since the beginning but it seems I'm always seeing veteran players mention how different the game is now.

As a vet with league and many other games changes are needed and for the most part are fun. This was way to much of a change, preseason has a lot to do with it I get that but this was a beta type change. The last time I checked this game was no longer in beta, for this reason changes that are made are normally minor. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years and it never bothered me because I love to play the game. Now??? Well I feel like I have been ripped off! All 7 rune pages are gone and to get them back I have buy them again? This = broken and not cool. IP was made by grinding that was okay and people gladly played knowing this. The game game was made so that a person had to spend years to grind to get every champ, now a person can do it in half the time. Riot did you forget about the vets that made you the money to get you company to this point in your revenue? Without the vets you would be another broken EVE online, we helped you get this company off the ground and accelerate at the speed of light, only to be thrown out for the new players. Its a money thing that you cant hook the vets up? This is just greedy you forgot where you came from. Great job consider this vet gone.
