New champ select penalizes duo queue? Red response appreciated.

So I think we can all agree that playing with friends is probably the biggest backbone to this game. I would even go so far as saying I don't even play anymore unless I'm with my friends. Not only is this method more enjoyable, objectively speaking it leads to better communication, better synergy, and better games. So why on earth does the new champ select penalize dou queue bot lanes? The one lane where these factors are most important. Allow me to explain how I came across what I believe to be a severe problem. I'll place a Tl:dr down at the bottom for those who don't want the specific details. So me and my buddy mostly stick mid, top, and jungle. However; on occasions we like to dou bot lane together, I go his support he... well he usually just plays . We have a great time, but here's the thing we ONLY go these roles when we are laning together. I refuse to support with a random, and he refuses to adc with a random. I am not a main support, and he is not a main adc. Our lanes together work well not because we are well with our roles but because we have amazing synergy. Being friends for years we are at the point where I know what he will do, and vice versa. Given these reasons we avoid being bot lane with randoms like the plague, and are only bot lane together. Yay friendship. [zombie-nunu-hearts] Ok now herein lies the problem with the new champ select. There is no longer any reliable way for us to be bot together. What I've encountered is the very aggravating “your team must cover a wider variety of roles before queueing up”. Apparently going into the matchmaking queue with myself set as primary-support Secondary-bot, and while he is set as Primary-Bot Secondary- Support is not allowed....even though we are most definitely fulfilling two different roles. This forces us to take secondary positions outside bot lane. Now we no longer have TEED bot position. And as luck would have it we back-to-back got separated in the matchmaking three times. Thus putting us in that dreadful situation we wish to avoid. Laning with randoms. [zombie-nunu-tears] To be quite literal. Riot, ever since this update me, and my friend have been UNABLE literally UNABLE to play in lane together. That is unacceptable. If this new system is intent on limiting, and punishing lane combinations among grouped friends, then it is essentially purposely destroying proper communication among teams. If that's the case I might as well go play Dota 2, and have Russians yell at me.

Tl;dr. Bot lane is now more or less randomized, and dou queues are not TEED to actually get lane together.
