Rarely getting placed mid

I have always been a mid laner in league. Just recently I bought the new lux skin since she's my main. Problem is out of my last 5 games I've been placed in my secondary role bot (which I don't even play but I can't put my secondary as support because I would never mid), so I feel like I spent 30 dollars on nothing. When does autofill get enabled, because it seems to be the problem? Is there any way I can have more of a success rate getting mid. Riot pls, idgaf how long a que takes, I just want my role.

Just got placed as jungle, and the guy who got mid had it as his secondary with supp as his primary. I'm so confused as to why I can't get mid in ranked.
