Bad Attitudes and Banning

Hi, its no secret that LOL has one of the worst communities of all games in terms of player toxicity. I cannot count the number of games lost due to player frustration after one death, throwing a game because someone didn't do what they wanted them to do or said something that offended them - And my favorite are the obvious players on alt accounts that state in the champ select menu " Im only here to make you all lose" Its a endless cycle of ups and downs and a huge hurdle to getting out of those low elo ranks. I can have the best game of my life and still get knocked down due to other players toxicity and that makes playing not very fun!

Suggestion: Create a way to ban these players (3 days to a month) from entering future games with you or create harsher penalties for players who obviously have ill intent. Im sure what iv suggested has been suggested many times over, but after dealing with 10 losses and 10 toxic players over the past 24 hours, i felt my suggestion was needed.

Ok, back to low elo misery!

Riot does not care about the playerbase. They /want/ this type of toxicity in the game. It creates an environment that they want in their game. And I imagine the Troll Knights will come in and downvote this soon enough and talk about how even if they admit it in chat, there is no way to prove they are trolling. Yes, this happens in almost every thread about this.

Noone is trolling except for you. Riot's system is actually very fair and punishes toxicity accordingly. It's up to the community to report these cases of toxicness. Because as a community we have to work together to make a better one.

Clearly you missed the gigantic post I made about a troll admitting it in chat and Riot not banning then? Also, "very fair" has never been used seriously about Riot.

Well you're toxic, you get punished depending on the severity. Thats pretty fair. And you have no proof riot has not punished them. The most minor severities get chat restriction. There is no possible way you will ever know if a player gets punished. You may a get a pop up that says a previous report helped punish a player but you will never know which one.

Chat ban for someone who is deliberately int'ing and killing their own ADC? Nope... not a thing. And yes, you can tell. You can tell when they play consistently every day afterwards and Riot has already closed the ticket. Weird huh?

No you can't. Because if you open up a ticket you are not reporting correctly. You right click on their name and click report. And chat restriction is a thing. Maybe not for someone who intentionally feeds but is is a thing.

Already did that too. And you literally just answered your own statement. A chat restriction is not appropriate for someone who int'feeds. In no way, under no circumstances. And doing so, while admitting it openly in chat, is undeniable. The entire game was obviously trolling as my post described. You are trying to defend a choice of a company to not punish deliberate trolls. Nothing more.

No I'm pointing out that your logic is flawed. You want to see the player get punished but you have no way of ever knowing if they get punished.

Not to mention constantly looking up someones profile to see if they played any games today to see if assumingly they get punished is unhealthy. And obsessive.

Except you do have a way to know. I already explained it. This is really simple.

And "constantly looking" hahaha I hope people do not do that to everyone they report. I made a comment about giving it a test run and testing it. The fact remains that all you are doing is defending griefers. Meh. Nothing more to say to you.
