i see in streams that people are going bruisers botlane instead of adc. can someone explain to me why they do that cause i dont get why not just get an adc since they scale better.

ADCs have been shifted towards late game and very rarely do games last long enough for ADCs to get full items.

People have been running bruisers bot (myself included) because with the new ADC items rework, Marksmen aren't quite as powerful in the early game. And seeing as Bruisers generally destroy Marksmen early, before they get their item power spike which is much later in the game now, most Bruisers basically get a free lane phase with Dorans Shield and Second Wind while still being able to kill the enemy ADC. Hope that explains it.
