It is literally who has the worst player and a pub stomp and DUOQ only makes it extremely worse. You're less likely to get a good duoq. I don't think I've ever had a duo group that didn't feed ( I check after every match, just to be curious). The game is literally horrible in high silver and the amount of shit you have to do to try to keep the game rolling is retarded. WINNING isn't even fun because you realize the enemy team just has one huge shitter and it's ruining the game for THEM. I remember being able to affect some part of the game even when we had a feeder on our team, but those matches are so rare. It's whoever gets firstblood/tower then fucking wait for 20-30 minutes for the game to end because my team doesnt want to surrender. Atleast in HoTs you're still having fun even if you're losing. I think the reason why I'm mad is because i'm low elo, but I can see how one bad player, on either team, can drastically affect the team's ability to win now. Silver is like taking a fucking straw every match, wondering if you're gettin ga shitty duoq, or, god fobid, unranked players in silver 1 or in your promos?... Even when they've lost every match in their placements.

A lot of people throw around the word "Meta" without actually understanding what it means. In low elo you can more or less succeed with any champion.

What IS destroying low elo(and people who dropped to low elo from placement / people with smurfs made this season can confirm) is that the damage creep is having a much larger effect here. Snowballing games are the norm and mistakes are often unrecoverable.
