Am I wrong here?

So in champion select or ranked, the first pick locked in Teemo and called in support. I was a bit skeptical, but I kept it to myself, and was pretty chill about the entire thing. In lane, we were against a Thresh and a Jinx, while I was Vayne. From about three minutes on I was harassed for not 'doing anything' while I was under turret farming. I tried to explain that I didn't really have anything to go on, and he wasn't exactly in a hurry to get out from behind me and poke with his Q, either. My argument of 'not having any CC to go off of' was met with derision.

All in all, this is probably more of a rage-relief post, but it just really bothered me. I'm not that bad of a Vayne, I think, but I can always get better. I just don't understand what I was possibly supposed to do against the long-range Jinx poke and the sniper-thresh that just ruled that entire lane. All I know, is I'm not at all a fan of Teemo support. Jinx was cutting through that dude with a few auto attacks.

Teemo supp is good when he isn't outranged by BOTH the ADC and Support. He'd be a good choice to take against Lucian Graves, and he's pretty decent against some standard 550 ranged ones too.

Honestly, that Jinx/Thresh matchup was mostly a skill matchup. You'd play offensive until Jinx has BF sword, and then go defensive until 6. Who wins at 6 will depend on whether Thresh's combo is better than Vayne's combo. If you don't engage at 6 at all though, then you lose turret.

Teemo support is a troll pick against anything but melee supports.

There's no way you could've won the Jinx/Thresh lane. You needed JannaNami Blitzcrank , something that either helps you sustain or forces them out of position against a wall.
