Agreed. You should have variable knowledge of every role. And even if you don’t, not feeding and being useful in universal knowledge.

This 100%. Everyone should have at least one champion for each role they can go "Yeah, I can at least not feed on this champion" with. Pick up a mechanically easy champion that might not be the strongest but at least you can't int too hard on.

Pick up Morg for mid, Janna for sup, Garen for top, WW for jg, and idk probably Cait for ADC. None are that hard to play in those roles, all are viable in them, and it's generally hard to do too badly on them, while they're fairly useful into most comps.

You can also swap Garen for your easy tank of choice. I just picked Garen because most people know how to play him to some degree and because he's mechanically simple.
