Her W isn't supposed to be used as a legitimate stun though... Riven uses her W as a way to combo into her other abilities. A good Riven doesn't need a full second to set herself up. What if she is being chased then? Well, Riven is already something of an escape artist. She doesn't need a buff to that avenue of play. Increasing the stun duration seems like an unfit buff to an otherwise decently balanced champion.

It's used as time for another ability to connect, an AA reset, or to land one of her empowered AAs. The only time it is worth using as CC is when shes far ahead and is going to flash E ult W aa Q aa Q aa Q ult usually against at least 3 people to deny their escapes.

I have spent a lot of time recently learning how to combo her kit efficiently so I don't look like a pleb playing her, so I speak from experience. She doesn't need more damage or CC right now. She needs a durability increase probably in base stats IMO. Maybe like 3 extra armor to make up for the lethality or a longer duration on her E shield but only slightly.

I will say that learning her kit made my opinion on her change a lot. Learning how to play her made her kit go from not viable in my eyes to just barely not viable because of the meta being so much damage that her shield often isn't enough to defend her in trades.
