I think that this has more to do with the fact that all 5 people now have a chance to carry the game." Kinda going off of an Orianna post I saw. This seems to go against what the majority opinion of how the Boards feels right now.

I'm not surprised that the majority opinion of boards does not line up with Apdo/Dopa. He is a top notch player who plays at a very high level with a very high level of understanding for the game, boards is a medley of players mostly from lower ELOs who often make posts based on face value of things.

Each party has their own right to an opinion (which isn't automatically wrong for any reason), but they are two vastly different perspectives.

Riven diving into 5 people and deleting 3 of them in an instant while taking nearly no damage Draven 1 shotting people and healing 99% of his hp back per auto Twitch coming from stealth deleting entire teams in the blink of an eye Caitlyn the same as always except with actual damage this time Zed murdering anybody who doesn't have zhonya Certain tanks are either unkillable while doing too much damage or not even remotely tanky and doing negative damage

It's literally all about BS'ing your way through at this point. If you aren't picking a Meta champ these days you better be the most pro player ever or you're basically fucked

It may not be an ADC meta, yeah. I don't doubt his words on that. But if 2-3 ADCs can carry the entire game by themselves as a role that's supposed to rely on the team, that's an issue.

its none of those, its a support meta which is why people are struggling to categorize it because support metas make ADC with super strong itemization unstoppable.

ADC Meta. Assassin Meta. Mage Meta. Tank Meta.

Stupid labels. There are no role metas. It's just there are 2-3 busted champions in one role and, boom, all ADCs are strong. Remember when it was a Tank Meta in Season 5 (maybe 4, time confuses me)? Sejuani, Dr. Mundo, and Maokai, that was it. There were no other extremely OP tanks. The rest just got squashed because there were a few incredibly stupid ones that made the role stand out after perhaps a few class wide changes to the role.

Because Apdo's strength as a player is being able to adapt to any meta and pick up the strongest champions and play any role, thus achieving rank 1 KR and having significant game knowledge since he has the perspective of having played every role a lot.

boards could really benefit from understanding that quote, but the hardcore adc haters are just going back to the "adc is required therefore OP" which is just deflection against meaningful discussion
