i was in gold5 last season, in season7's placement i got 7W3L but i got bronzen2?

I'm pretty sure if you're anything lower than Diamond, all of your MMR and ranked ratings just get completely reset and you have to start from Bronze again.

It's so all the elo boosted people have to start at a reasonable rank and not play with people 3 tiers above them ;)

lol not true at all. I was Gold season 4, got placed Silver III season 5 and climbed to Silver II... Placed Silver III again in season 6 and climbed to Gold.

The Rank is one thing, but the MMR is another. If your MMR is higher you will be placed decently, if it's actually lower then what your rank was then you most likely will get lower.

The ranked season begins with a soft reset. You are supposed to end in a lower division after your placements, even if you win all 10 games.

i know it but i think even that soft reset, a gold5 who with 7W3L will get a sliver 2 or 3 right? bronze2 is really too low i guess

Maybe this season is a hard reset. Wouldn't be surprised, especially after dynamic booste- i mean, queue.

or just playing it with friends which is what it was designer for....

i prefer soloq don't get me wrong and while i wil try to win in flex i don't inheritley give a rats ass about it.

i just finished my placements won 9 out of 10 got put in silver 5... like wtf was the point in trying to win only to get placed into silver 5 might as well have trolled the entire placement.

I was gold 5 season 5. 7W 3L got silver 2 or 3. Its ur mmr. If its crappy and low you drop even lower. I finished this season g3 with higher mmr then normal on op.gg. im waiting 2 months to do promos so the high elo players get to their tiers.
