As a jungle main, I've been running into more and more duos of master yi jg and taric mid laners. While I'm sure they get beat, it seems extremely difficult if not impossible to outplay since yi can just be untargetable for the majority of the fight with his q and taric ult. Even if the funnel strat doesn't go well early, once yi hits two or three items it's gg, which comes even sooner than normal with the additional exp. from the funnel.
i played a normal blind pick game and i got top lane, as the jungler spammed jg and just insisted. our mid was taric mid. i didnt realize what was going on or that we had a taric mid until 5 mins in the game.
free kills top. such easy kills. its a kayle and im sett and shes overextended a lot, and im constantly getting her to half hp waiting for that gank. hes top side and instead of coming he just goes mid and cses minions and goes back and afks jungle with taric following him in the jungle for some reason to help him farm? (lol???).
whole game he ignores bot + top, despite me pinging free kills. he just constantly afk jungles and picks terrible fights. tries to 2v4 bot and dies. we just lose the game. most boring game ever.
oh wow 30+ min in the game he got a quad kill cuz the combo worked cuz enemy got cocky. didnt work the next time as they just kited/cc'd him w/e he want in with ult + Taric ult and he died. we lost the game.
that game was easily one of the worst games of LoL I've played in my life. a jungling playstyle with a worthless mid that makes the game 3v5 and a 2v5 at the same time. its like the yi and taric are their own team and we 3 are alone to do shit ourselves. he didnt communicate at all. just lose lane and let the kayle scale with 0 problems. all i wanted was 1 gank on a half hp kayle and i could snowball the lane. he never went top and never went into the enemy jungle so i had no idea where the enemy nidale was 90% of the time. I was forced to play safe and lose tons of CS and it was just too risky to go for an all in play against a kayle + nidale (double heal bait).
It's just I main jungle, and I know how I would want my laners to play and how to play around the jungler. However, he never did a thing, so I had no jungler to play around. No good tp's. he just afk farm'd.
jesus. that shit still makes me feel depressed. i dont know how master yi is still the champ he is, with a 60% damage reduction W, and a Q that makes him untargatable and autos that kill you in 2-3 hits. i have no clue. holy shit rework please it was one of the most toxic and unfun playstyles to play with and againsts. the taric player is usually the player buying a boost in ranked play and the yi is the smurfing player.
I wondered why Taric had the highest winrate of any champ I forgot he's always part of boosting and funneling.
