A PC bang (Korean: PC방; literally "PC room") is a type of LAN gaming center in South Korea, where patrons can play multiplayer computer games for an hourly fee.

So basic LOL today is a one-cell game for an internet cafe. But the question is how Rito can have profit from this? If a person is so poor that playing in a internet cafe then where does he get money for skins?

Playing in a pc cafe doesnt mean they dont have money. 20 bucks spend on rp is easyer done than a few hundred on a pc. Also you can spend more on skins when you dont buy a pc.

F2p model basically functions by having tons of free players and a percentage of that that forks over money

I imagine korea is the only real place they are going to be getting their main revenue from, since the other country they cater too has come down with a certain pandemic. If it wasnt so horrible, it would be ironic.

They don’t. Riot is just going to milk and cater to them, and then all the old guard players are going to leave and the company will fail.

one thing to point out about skin pricing, is that while it has gone up, their quality is miles of what it used to be, just compare any modern 750 rp skin with... red baron corki

They not necessarily give much money away to play. Cafes costs for playing there are laughable, even for Asia standarts. They profit mainly from food/drinks which are so overpriced, but they dont let you bring in your own. So I can imagine that many players are making decisions like "Do I want snacks for week or that curvy Kaisa skin?".

(Yes, 2018 was bcs of Fortnite...)

You completely misunderstand the reason for PC Bangs. It's not "wow I cant afford a computer so Im playing in the Bang instead" Theyre a meet-up place and a social hangout scene. You can rent a PC, hang out with your friends for 2-3 hours after school, get snacks and drinks, and then go home to eat dinner with your family and get screamed at to do your homework and chores until youre forced to go to sleep earlier than you want ... and jump back on LoL as soon as your parents aren't looking. Korea and Japan don't demonize video games the way Americans and Europeans do, which is why people like Faker make far more money in endorsements than Riot could ever pay him for playing in tourneys the way Tiger Woods made 80% of his money from cereal boxes and commercials, rather than his winnings from Golf tournaments.
