High MMR can stop rank progression.

I'm a Silver 1 player who is not allowed to que with Diamonds yet I am matched up against them. I'm also matched up with "plat" players who have low MMR. So essentially I had high MMR so I'm put up against good players but teamed up with "bad" players for their rank. This is a really bad system and needs to be stopped. Only match people within your rank bracket or the next. The fact that I can play against a Diamond but not with one is absolutely ridiculous and stops high MMR players stuck in Silver and Gold like myself, to get screwed over.

It's horrible when your 80/20 W/L but every game the people on your team are 30-40% win rate and the other team maybe 60% winrate but your the support -_-

I mean if you're really winning 80% of the games you're playing, you should probably not complain. That's an incredibly high ratio and at that point who really gives a damn about how low the rest of your team is?

Just play... With 80% winrate u can go through 3 divisions in 20 games...

Uhhh I am "just playing." Problem is as someone else said, once you start winning they match you to lose on purpose. Can't maintain 80% win rate with really bad teams and matching system.

System matches you based on your MMR.

If your matched with high players your MMR is high. MMR is a hidden value.

LP does not represent your MMR in anyway whatsoever.

Matchmaking system should in theory be working fine.

Umm this doesn't make sense. The fact it's based on MMR and not rank is in my opinion silly.

Make sense or no, that's how the system is designed. You can be Silver 1 with Plat 5 MMR and be playing with Plats/Golds constantly.

You just need to dodge a lot of games. Can create some interesting scenarios. (Or straight up just going on big winning streaks can inflate it as well.)
