What's the earliest you've ever gotten a Rod of Ages?
And on what champ.
So far the best I've done is at 10 mins on
. I had to sell my
and any health potions i had.

6 min Cho'Gath. Starting with 5/0 will get you high.
8 min Swain.
I believe when you don't get any kills and you farm up very well a player can land an RoA at 13 minutes or so.

ye, 13 minutes was usually the average it took for me. After 15-16 minutes it really hurt my potential to carry until i got another item.
8 min old ROA on old
.
Netted a triple kill in a lv 1 fight and kept destroying my lane opponent.
Also, and perhaps more impressive:
sub-16 minutes, had Cinderhulk into ROA on
Jungle
8-ish minutes on Annie, after that it was gg as the one shot tibbers butt-fucking began.
I have been pushing for it on Talijah, but the earliest i have gotten it was around 11mins, but I was 3-0 I believe.
At least with Talijah, I am wondering if I should skip ROA and go straight for Rylai's
7 min on
But Im starting to rush Zrot portal now
Well since the last change to RoA it's still viable to get it in an average game up until about 25 minutes. So for anyone that can really use AP, it is a generally good item for the stats it provides. Keep in mind the passive:
"This item gains 20 health, 10 mana and 4 ability power every minute, up to 10 times. UNIQUE – ETERNITY: 15% of damage taken from champions is gained as mana. Spending mana restores 20% of mana spent as health, up to 25 per cast (toggle spells heal for up to 25 per second)."
So it could potentially be best used by someone who can & will be hit often by the enemy and uses abilities that cost around 100 mana a cast. If those conditions aren't met, you're basically just using RoA to have "just in-case" HP so you don't get popped by high burst champions or a fed enemy player.
