Ranked Disconnects

Dear Riot,

I am writing this not as a rage but a true disappointment in your services. I was playing a normal ranked game in which my team had a good lead, when all of a sudden one of our players disconnects. This game was quite close even in a four versus five situation and it bothers me that I lose almost a quarter of a division of lp when I have no control over someone disconnecting. I fully understand that it happens and sometimes there is nothing the player can do and I really care minimally about them being punished but the fact that their team's performance is completely ignored almost is absurd. I feel that in such a disconnect situation we should at least be compensated with a lower lp loss which is not outrageous to ask for.
