Why is my name censored?

Hey everyone, as you can see my name is based on the Swedish city of Gothenburg but the Swedish name is censored in game, why is this? also I named myself this Before it was censored.

Try google translate, let auto-detect the language and systematically type in parts of your name and..

Special characters are allowed in some Summoner Names depending on the selected language. If a special character is not utilized in the selected language, it will not be available to be used even if it is on a region that allows it.

Pretty sure language unique characters dont exist unless they have their own server with the language added and even so rarely outside that server, i am pretty sure that if someone tries to write a name using chinese/korean symbol characters then the name will just appear like a row of blank boxes in game unless playing on their servers.

At least it was so for a really long time, and even if it got fixed by riot adding them in to all the serves i doubt Swedish got the same treatment :P
