the problem i have with riven buffs is that she ISN'T an issue now.
she can still pretty much 100-0 most champ at lvl 6. but she needs to play it right wait for them to waste a crucial spell and it takes skill to do.
the buffs are just going to bring back riven into the old "OP" state.
I think it's because Riven is in a decent spot despite he community saying otherwise and, now that she is getting buffed out of no where, people are confused and a little angry since she isn't really underpowered right now.
The ability they increased the damage on is a medium range AoE AD execute with a fairly quick cone shaped passthrough projectile.
coupled with an increase of the power of penetration items and cdr for AD champs there is a potential issue
But then i'm pretty sure champs are also getting tankier anyways

Because she has huge buffs on pbe. She's getting more damage with her ult.
