Kennen wave clear

The title says it clear, every game I played with I always seemed to get pushed out of tower aka turret. Kennen's wave clear is so weak, you have to rather focus on one individual minion or poke the enemy with the electrical surge other way it wont matter because the enemy always gets more farm than you. You do less damage to minions and its so hard not to get pushed by other champions. I know Kennen's E can help go through the minions with a W but that's not enough to maintain control over every minion wave. Hextech Protobelt helps a little but you can't always depend on that item when playing against specific champions. Riot please, is their plans on Kennen in the future?
